More about me:
The Inspiration for my Art and Photography
My name is Jenny Trezise. I am a trained nutritionist, mindset coach and self-taught artist. I’ve studied and worked in healthcare in various ways, my entire life. I am highly inquisitive and sensitive to all forms of life. I am passionate about helping others realise the true power of their body and mind in creating optimal health and living the best quality of life possible.
I created my artwork and photographic prints to create a unique way for myself and others to reconnect with themselves and with all life on earth. I hope you can use the pieces as inspiration to take yourself to a more positive place no matter what challenges present themselves to you.
I spend time in nature observing and admiring the flora and fauna that surrounds me. I then select the photographic prints and inspirations for my drawings, from photos that I believe capture their personality and uniqueness. I endeavour to create a special connection with each and every one.
Throughout the creation of my drawings, I also consider the spirit of the animal and how their characteristics and traits are often taken into inspiration for humanity to use. Eg The bravery and courage of a lion, the peacefulness and grace of a turtle or the harmony that comes from deep connection with a dolphin or a whale
I think about them in much the same way that many native cultures perceive animals, but with my own interpretation. I also do it with a great sensitivity for animal conservation and a strong desire for long-lasting peace for humanity.
My desire is to help bring humanity into a place where we can admire and respect all aspects of nature and all creatures (and humans) great and small. I’d love you to join me on this journey.
My interpretations and stories about how and why I created the artwork are outlined for you in the descriptions of the artwork on each page.
My photographic images have little to no editing. It is important to me, to be able to maintain a high level of enjoyment and stay focused on what is really important, in order to maintain balance in my life.
This is how I aim to live my life and is why I don’t feel the need to change what I have captured. If it gives me a sense of wholeness, then I’d like to think it can do the same for you.
Animal Portraiture
If you love my art, you might like to commission me to create a special piece for you. I pride myself in developing a genuine connection with the animal and its personality, whether from the photography or from a physical connection, to bring the artwork to life. This way, you can always be reminded of what that special soul meant to you.
Please get in touch to discuss options for commissioned pieces.
